Chicago Cubs

Many of you probably don't know but Jedd is an avid Cubs fan and now so am I.  I watch as many games as I can and usually stay up for the majority of the game.  The only phenomenon is that almost every game I watch goes into extra innings which makes it that much more fun!  But just in case you were wondering, the Cubs are on a 3 game winning streak.  I feel like this just might be their year.  And I'm just putting this out there....it might be due to my new found love of the Cubs.  (ha ha ha)  Who knew I would know almost all the team players and be able to identify each of them.  Not only do I get my fill of baseball watching the Cubs, Jedd plays on 2 softball teams and subs for another one during the week.  I love going and watching him play and now being the cheering "fiance" in the stands.  I'm just really glad that it is getting warmer. 

We are ENGAGED!

On May 20, 2008 Jedd finally proposed and of course I said yes! Jedd and I met on a blind date in January. We were set up by his mom who works at the school I teach at. Ever since, we have been inseperable. Jedd proposed in the parking lot of his softball game on Tuesday night. He literally had to pull me out of the truck becasue I was completely in shock. I had no idea what he was doing. 5 minutes after proposing, Jedd was on the pitching mound pitching his softball game. I couldn't have asked for anything more! It was absolutely perfect.

We are so excited for the big day...... August 1st.
